Covenant Eyes Release New Filter
Owosso, MI (PRWEB) August 22, 2007 -- Officials from Covenant Eyes, Inc. announced today the launch of the new "Covenant Eyes Filter." The fully customizable filter provides features unavailable with any other filter, and is designed to complement their industry leading "Covenant Eyes Internet Accountability Program." The filter allows families, businesses, churches and all others to protect users from unwanted and objectionable Internet content.
According to Covenant Eyes founder and CEO Ron DeHaas, "For nearly a decade our single purpose has been to allow for the safe use of the Internet through our patent-pending software program. With the addition of the Covenant Eyes Filter, we have rounded out our product offerings to meet the needs of countless individuals and organizations. The Covenant Eyes Internet Accountability Program has impacted tens of thousands of lives and we are hopeful that the filter will impact hundreds of thousands."
Mr. DeHaas adds, "We have designed the Covenant Eyes Filter to be very easy to use and extremely customizable. Each member of the family or organization can have specific parameters regarding the types of websites they can visit or the amount of time they spend on the computer. This allows the user, or parent or employer, to regain control of the computer."
The Covenant Eyes Filter provides a variety of helpful features including: * Unique Age-based sensitivity settings. * Unique Dynamic Scoring includes analysis and blocking of individual personal sites like MySpace, search strings, etc. * Allows time controls -- times of day can be blocked, or total time per day/week. Decide the times of day or even the days of the week when the Internet may used. * Personalized black list or white list available. * Allows specific blocking of protocols -- for instance, most Instant Messaging, newsgroups, file sharing, and other protocols can be blocked. * Easy Override of blocked sites by the system guardian if the blocked site needs to be viewed.
DeHaas says, "Our company name is drawn from Job 31:1 'I have made a covenant with my eyes.' For nearly 10 years, our purpose has been to provide a tool enabling Internet users to maintain that covenant, regardless of whether their temptation is to pornography, gambling, or simply time spent on the Internet. Our goal is to honor God, our families, and our relationships in the way that we use the Internet by establishing accountability with others."
The Covenant Eyes Filter is $4.99 per month for new subscribers. For current Covenant Eyes Accountability Program users, the filter is just $1.50/month.
Covenant Eyes' initial product, the Covenant Eyes Internet Accountability Program is an industry-leading software program designed to hold people accountable when using the Internet. The program allows users to select Accountability Partner(s) to develop, demonstrate, and defend Internet integrity. The program then monitors all Internet use and sends a report to the Accountability Partners. Inappropriate websites are highlighted on the report. Monthly subscription for the Covenant Eyes Accountability Program is $7.99 with multiple user discounts.
